INTRODUCTION

A flower show has been held in Wellow since before World War II but in 1986 the Wellow & District Horticultural Society was formed and affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.

The aims of the Society are to encourage interest and greater skill in leisure gardening by the promotion of activities for its members.

MEMBERSHIP

A yearly membership costs £12 for a family and £7 for an individual membership. For further information contact the membership secretary below. Specialist speakers offer members a full programme of talks on a wide range of subjects. Visits to beautiful and interesting gardens in the area, an open garden party in the summer, as well as a quarterly news letter bringing you up to date on all aspects of the society throughout the year. Admission is free to all talks and the annual flower show held in September. Discounts are available at a number of garden centres. You can complete and return a membership application form HERE. HOW THE SOCIETY IS RUN
