Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 11th June 2012 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

 

Present: Cllrs Andrews, Betts, Caudle, Clarkson, Dolman, Prentice (Chairman), Wheeler, White.  Seven members of the public were in attendance.

 

Agenda

 

1.  Election of Chairman

 

The outgoing Chairman, Hugh Prentice, vacated his seat and Richard Holland, who had previously agreed to do so, took the chair for this item.

 

Cllr Betts suggested that Cllr Prentice be re-appointed and this was seconded by Cllr Caudle.  It was unanimously agreed to do so and Cllr Prentice resumed his seat.

 

2.  Election of Vice-Chairman

 

Cllr Prentice proposed that Cllr Caudle be appointed and this was seconded by Cllr Clarkson.  Cllr Caudle agreed to accept the nomination and was elected unanimously.

 

3.  Appointment of Sub-Committee and Subject Leaders:

 

After some discussion the following arrangements were made.

 

a)  Planning                                         Cllrs Caudle and Clarkson

b)  Finance                                          Cllrs Prentice, Richard Holland and the Clerk

c)  Burial Board                                  Cllrs Andrews and Betts

d)  Village Hall Committee                 Cllr Andrews and Betts

e)  St Julian’s Church School              Cllr White

f)  Rights of Way and Enforcement   Cllrs Caudle and Dolman

g)  Playground            and Field                     Cllrs Doman and Wheeler

h)  Parish Plan                                     Cllrs Clarkson, Doman and Prentice

i)  Trees                                               Cllr White

 

4.  Appointment of Responsible Financial Officer

It was unanimously agreed that the Clerk be re appointed as RFO.

 

6.  Resolution on continued banking arrangements

It was unanimously agreed to continue banking arrangements with Nat West Bank
